Great little gadget that works like a charm. When you open your first few cans you tend to think you have to do something more than just put it on top of the can and push the buttom…but…that’s all it takes. Almost too easy to be true. After several weeks of use we still look at it as it is working like it’s splitting the atom. Neat little tool. Fast delivery from great vendor.

I bought one of these for my mother last Christmas, and she absolutely loves it! It is still running strong to this very day. I get the feeling that most people who gave this can opener a bad review did not read the instructions and therefore don’t understand that you absolutely must allow the can opener to stop on its own. It is also wise to change the batteries at the first sign of weakening, otherwise it will lock onto a can and be extremely difficult to remove. Overall, an excellent little device.

I like the other reviewer had to throw this thing out when I got it stuck on a can and couldn’t get if off. I tried several times to get it to budge and it wouldn’t. I will not be buying any ‘one touch’ products again.

This was a gift for a mother-in-law who was having a hard time with a conventional can opener. This one works reasonably well for her, but does eat batteries. A set of rechargeables solved that problem. If you get a broken one, send it right back for a replacement. These sort of cheap kitchen appliances have horrible quality control in China. But if it works, it’s not a bad item for someone who has difficulty with a regular manual can opener.

This has to be one of the worst products I’ve ever purchased. Note that both people that scored this high did not use it themselves. This gizmo would be really cool if it worked, but I agree it went thru batteries like crazy and got stuck on ever second or third can. A set of batteries was only good for a couple of cans, then it would get stuck, ruin the can so a std opener wouldn’t work and was a pain to remove. I tried to return it to the manufacture for a refund or exchange, but no one would answer the phone. I didn’t have to throw it away, however, one of my friends had seen it on TV and wanted to try it, so I gave to him… he threw it away. I bought mine direct from the manufacturer, I’m sure if I’d have gotten it thru Amazon, they would have made them make it right. Lesson learned.
